Young Willow Foliage
Young Willow Foliage
Over the years I've developed a fondness for a certain kind of tree -characterful shapes of their branches in particular. After some research based on the young springtime foliage, it transpires that many of these trees are actually pussy/goat willow (Salix caprea). This is not from one of the favoured trees, but as a roadside tree the foliage was more accessible.
