Aurora on Canvas
An Aurora Borealis seen from Perth, Scotland in 2005
Taken in January 2005, just south of Perth, Scotland. I looked out the window late one evening to see a patch of luminous green dangling in the sky; realising it was no mere cloud, 5 minutes later I was a couple of miles away in the middle of nowhere on the road south of Moncrieffe Hill, admiring the shimmering greens and reds.
