Bow-Fiddle Rock, Portknockie, black and white
Bow-Fiddle Rock, Portknockie, black and white
A classic view - the strong angular shape of Bow Fiddle with rock-pools in the foreground, Portknockie.
The usual view from the bay, looking end-on at Bow Fiddle rock and its natural arch.
It was not the easiest of photos to make: the light came from dull and flat to bright and shiny on the yellow foreground rocks and back, in the course of 25 seconds, during which I made half a dozen frames of about 1s exposure.
