The sea lapping around red rocks on the shore in Crail Harbour

Red Devonian Sandstone and other dark rocks partially submerged in the surf at the beach, Crail Harbour. This is one of the earliest large-format photos I made, on my first outing with the camera, on Fuji Velvia-100 slide film. Rather than one long exposure, it is a composite of 4 superimposed fast exposures. The result is thin streams of light blue spray looking like mist as it flows amongst the stones...
