At the start of October, as Autumn was starting, I went on a photo-walk around Inverary including a stroll along the sides of Dubh Loch just outside the town. We watched the light coming and going on the distant mountains and nearby hills, and at just the right moment it illuminated the trees on the crannog, an island in the loch.
