Gatesgarthdale Beck
Gatesgarthdale Beck
A waterfall in the small river running through the Honister pass.
The car was playing up, showing its engine warning light for the second time with no obvious reason, so I drove it over the Honister, a pass with switchback S-bends on a 1:4 gradient, uphill into a 60mph headwind. It was hard enough lying down to make this photo, let alone standing up to walk around... The trick is to get the river flowing down whilst hiding passing cars behind the grass.
