Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe (black and white)
Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe (black and white)
The classic view - water still like glass, reflecting the castle and clouds on a beautiful sunny September morning.
Funny to think how many times I've been past here over the years. My first memory of it is driving around with Dad, maybe 15 years ago, spotting the potential. Around 2009 I spent a couple of years living a few miles down the road (and never really got around to doing it justice - never say "it's so close I can do it any time"!).
This, perhaps my favourite photo of the castle, was taken on a holiday weekend returning to the area last September.
Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe, clouds reflected in glassy water, looking good in the glorious sun.
