Loch Shiel
A long exposure on the shores of Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan.
I did battle avoiding many humans to make this photograph - Glenfinnan throngs with people getting in the way of good landscape photographs in the tourist season. But the longer I waited, the more people weren't there, and nature both restored and was restored. Taken on the Shen-Hao large-format camera using Fuji Velvia-100 film, with about a 45s exposure. I found the dead tree-trunk in the foreground intrusive, but it leads the eye into the centre of the frame.
