TTL^2: Landscape Redux, beneath a sea of cloud
A high pass in the Lake District, manipulated in the darkroom
A typical Lake District mountain pass: the road wending its way over Wrynose down to Wrynose bottom in the distance, located near the Three Shires Stone. Taken on the Shen-Hao large-format camera, this photo was enlarged in the darkroom, using the same camera as a projector (hence TTL^2: the image has been through the same lens twice), onto Foma paper with a lot of dodging and burning to bring out detail in the clouds, prior to scanning.
