A tranquil moment, standing on the shores of Loch Rannoch as the last bright sunlight cast a golden hue on the crannog and folly. I thought the wake made for an elegant line in the water, not matched by the energetic flapping of the bird to achieve takeoff over such a distance.
Loch Rannoch: beautiful cool evening light, mountains receding in the haze, and a wake from a bird that took quite a long run-up to get airborn.
