Lochan Urr Timelapse

A few weeks ago I noticed a fellow photographer's work taken a mere 10 miles away from where I've lived for the past few years, up the other end of Loch Etive. Despite the close proximity, it actually takes 1.5 hours to drive all the way around through Glen Coe and down the length of Glen Etive to get there, so I researched exactly where to go to find the optimum viewpoint and how to recognize the path through the woods - thanks to OS maps and Google Streetview.

I made several photos that morning, but also this timelapse, watching sunlight break through the cloud cover, causing patterns of light to glide over the end of Buachaille Etive Beag across the water.

68 frames, spanning 16 minutes. I also made a still photo as a standalone from this sequence.
