Tim Haynes: exploring Scotland's outdoors through fine-art landscape and nature photography

Contrasty Clouds

Display image: Contrasty Clouds
This photo is a bit of an experiment. I've had a new Fuji X-T4 for just over a week now, as my more portable go-everywhere shoot-everything camera. Even the kit 16-80mm lens is ideal for the purpose too. I've spent a couple of evenings working on a custom profile for the sensor, so it looks decent in Darktable. This is the first result worth publishing - using that custom profile, some custom tweaks encapsulated in a LUT and the black & white conversion using a Fuji Neopan film emulation. Contrasty fluffy white clouds.
