Lone Ash, Glen Devon
A very well-known tree at Frandy Fisheries in Glendevon - normally, people photograph it from the other side looking obliquely across the road to give the illusion of continuous hillside; on this occasion I was impressed by the thick snow obscuring the hills in the distance, the curve of the road forming a leading line on approach, a larger echo of the tree's own curved trunk.
