Eroded Glaciated Antiform

Display image: Eroded Glaciated Antiform
Better known as the Praying Hands of Mary or Fionn's Rock - a famous rock structure standing on the hillside above Glen Eildearg in Glen Lyon. A line of an antiform runs through the surrounding landscape; the hill in the middle distance is covered in glacial morraine and till; the stones themselves are schistose semipelite and psammite. A synthetic long exposure of 256 source frames originally shot as a timelapse but average-blended together in bulk. Beautiful light lapping its way across the landscape.
