Finlarig Castle
A new experiment for me - shooting a scene through a glass ball. Not exactly original, but an intriguing departure from the usual factual representative approach - bringing in aspects of landscape, understanding and controlling light (light-painting), closeup and abstract composition.
It was sufficiently dark toward dusk that, by exposing for the sky in the glass ball, the foreground was so dark as to justify a longish exposure and benefit from light-painting with a simple LED torch to illuminate the boulder.
