The Source of the Clyde
I'd only visited this spot once before, in the days before the drone, but the thrill of chasing it down again from poring over maps was seductive.

Toward the lower centre of the frame the Daer Water (right) and the Potrail Water (left) merge, along with other farm field run-off burns, and the majestic River Clyde is formed. It's downhill from here all the way to the sea.

Apparently these hillsides are not 15m deep in Scots Pines; in the distance I see sizeable conifer plantation forests. I wonder why that could be.
